The Artworld Series is a series of books about Konrad who finds a pair of sunglasses that allows him to see what goes on inside of paintings and eventually also enter the Artworld. The first book was released in May 2016 and is called Konrad and the Birthday Painting. The cover looks like this:

Konrad and the Birthday Painting is available as e-book, paperback, and hardback, on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and many other retailers worldwide. You can find reviews on Amazon, Goodreads and on assorted book blogs around the net, for instance here and here.

The second book in the series is called Konrad and the Christmas Painting, and it will be published in November 2016. (Fingers crossed!)

It’s been a week since Book 1 ended and Christmas is only ten days away. Ms. Gundersen is in love, Philip is polite and helpful, and the world seems to be on a tilt-a-whirl when Konrad is trying to readjust to reality after his visit to the Artworld. When his mother cancels Christmas, Konrad decides to do whatever it takes to get her back in the Christmas spirit. Even work alongside Philip in order to make money for the perfect Christmas present.

Book 3 in the Artworld series might possibly be called Konrad and the Smiling Painting and will hopefully be out in time for Christmas 2016. As you might deduct from the completely unfinished cover on the left, it takes place in a European capital, famous for its art and art museums.
When Konrad and his family get a surprise trip to EuroDisney his mother is determined that they shouldn’t spend all weekend with Mickey and Goofy. Her children should also experience some of the culture that Paris has to offer! But taking Konrad and his sister to the Louvre might be more educational than Konrad’s mom had counted on, for all of them.
